I am not familiar with the latest studies involving GMO's. I know the American Medical Association has no problem with them so I think they're safe to eat, my concern is more of an environmental one (like the resulting superweeds) and last time I checked the consensus on this was it was bad - but it's been a couple of years and I haven't followed it so perhaps this has changed. If so I would follow the scientific consensus.
