To an extent, I can sympathize with the people doing the ranting.

When Bush 43 was re-elected, I was in shock for a few weeks.
It was inconceivable to me that anyone could possibly vote for this nitwit after he'd committed one of the worst blunders in modern American history.

Then I realized that he hadn't won the election.
We had handed it to him by fielding a candidate who had voted for that crazy war himself and had no sense of what real people in the US wanted from a leader.

The ranters will figure that out eventually.
