Yeah, this one, if signed, will cause women to die. Many women don't know they're pregnant by the time you can hear a heartbeat. (Worth noting that weeks of pregnancy count from the last period, so 6 weeks is really more like 4 weeks after fertilization.) Ectopic pregnancies generally aren't detectable until around 7 weeks. Women with ectopic pregnancies can die if the pregnancy isn't terminated.

The law is unconstitutional. Legislators who pass this kind of stuff that's unconstitutional on its face should be required to pay the legal costs of defending it; the taxpayers shouldn't have to.
