Maybe that's the problem.
Let's look at what the leaders of the free world have done lately:

-Rent out the Lincoln bedroom
-Pardon a Swiss billionaire whose wife is a buddy to the leader's wife, and contributes millions to the leader's foundation.
-Seduce an intern in the White House
-Pass NAFTA, the most vicious anti-labor legislation of the 20th century
-Start a needless war that slaughters hundreds of thousands of innocent people
-Try to privatizee social security
-Bail out banks whose execs now make more than they did before causing the financial disaster
-Pass Obamacare against the wishes of more than half the country
-Watch the middle class shrink steadily as the rich become richer

Need I proceed?
The point is that "what the leader of the free world does" isn't working for a lot of people.
