Thanks for mentioning atoutfox. I never attended atoutfox meetings. But well, 2017 may be a chance to jump on board the French-speaking VFP community:)

Concerning VFP use, I am, of course as many here, on my way out (to python). I am trying hard to reduce external dependencies in the current vfp-9 code to the absolute utmost minimum. In this respect I'll even try to discard MS-Excel dependencies in our import/export facility soon using this:

I try to reduce deployment concerms (the package is a essentially a compact download). So that is no time in 2017 to embed an additional MS-browser-related dependency. But hopefully we may find an alternative regex engine to fit:)
