>>Plenty of America voters (who actually live here, and have to deal with ramifications) in the last 3 elections do not agree with that.

Plenty of Americans (who actually live on the planet and have to deal with ramifications) say the earth was created a few thousand years ago and that there were no dinosaurs. So that must be true as well?

No thanks. Truth is not a popularity contest and sitting in an aircraft seat does not make you an aeronautical engineer. Just as buying an insurance policy and reading lay explanations in partisan MSM does not make anybody an expert on the ACA.

>>This is why the Ds and HRC lost in 2010, 2014, and 2016 - too much of this "we know what's good for you", when it was more than a baby step, and "not" in the right direction.

Right. If they'd proposed a "we know what's good for you" wall or promised to erect "we know what's good for you" trade barriers that risk international retaliation against US high value exports, they'd have won.

I don't think so. I think "Flyover Country" thinking by inbred self-satisfied coastal elites, combined with exposure of dirty "business as usual" insider tricks, combined with daily agonizing over WC configurations on the Titanic while Trump was saying "I'm gonna steer us away from icebergs" is what won the day for Trump.

>>This concept of "but more are insured!!!" is a ton of baloney when that piece of paper is worthless - narrowing networks, combo of increasing premiums and deductibles....

That's like the person who sues Ford after rupturing an eardrum when the airbag went off. Why did the airbag go off? Because the driver crashed the vehicle into an overbridge support, at which point the evil airbag saved their life. But who cares about all that: Ford injured a person! Naughty, naughty Ford.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
