>>>I've said it before and I'll say it again - the Democratic party got blasted...BLASTED...in the 2014 elections, from the Senate races to state legislature races to governor races. And now they have suffered the humiliation of losing the White House, and not being able to win back either the House or Senate.

Good question.
I think Mad Dog was an excellent appointment. His principal argument with the Obama administration was over the whacko notion that women should be allowed in combat roles.
Over his objection the Marine Corps was forced to give women a try and, using the same standards used for men, all but a few women out of hundreds failed the training.
Utter political correctness nonsense.
Mad Dog will fix that in a hurry.

The sleeper that none of the Trump-hating press pundits have jumped on is Wilbur Ross, his nominee for Secretary of Commerce.
Traditionally that post has been a payoff to fundraising hacks, etc.

Ross, however, is a brilliant, albeit viciously ruthless, businessman.
During his campaign, Trump repeatedlty mentioned having sharp people, rather than political hacks, negotiating trade deals.
If he plans to use Wilbur Ross to do that, the Chinese will be lucky if they can sell us some Egg Foo Young without buying something of a lot more value made here.

On the other hand, Ross has been equally vicious with labor unions- and not a single member of our liberal press establishment has noted that.

I'll be watching Wilbur and Mad Dog while the pundits worry about the headlines du jour.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
