Medicare and Medicaid aren't bankrupting the country- but medical costs are out control.
Medical costs have been rising more quickly than incomes for the past several decades.

Even before ACA, many companies had dumped medical plans completely or shifted to defined contribution or cafeteria plans as a way of controlling costs.

Sooner or later, this country is going to have to figure out a way rein in health care costs.
As I said in my conversation with Tamar, $7,000/day hospital costs are an obscenity and they are the norm.

No insurance system can deal with numbers like that.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
