This was a pure joke. The media loves to portray Trump as a clown - but I don't see them calling this for what it was: a clown show.
Stein used all the buzzwords about "election integrity" and "representation for all", while fleecing some D voters. That money could have been used for better charitable purposes. Stein got a fundraising stash (though some states might legally go after her), an updated mailing list, and an IOU for carrying water for HRC.
Now that round #1 of "Let's discredit the election" is over, they've moved onto round #2 (this diversion about Russia interfering).
