Most of you are too young to have been around when Tricky Dick Nixon and Tail Gunner Joe McCarthy were villified by the lefties for making names for themselves as Red Hunters extrordinaire.

The libs - including many of my favorite profs- lionized those accused by those awful people of cozying up to the Ruskies as heroes for democracy, free speech, blah, blah, blah.

The infamous Black List, which included names of people in show business who couldn't be hired because they were suspected of being Ruskie-lovers, is held up as emblematic of the horrible evils of red-baiting.

Many lefties and even the pope tried to seek clemency for Ethel and Julius Rosenberg who were executed by the US government for passing secrets to the Russians.

Fast-forward 60 years and we have the left going after Trump for being too soft on the Reds!!!

Let's form congressional committees, have hearings.
