Do you have a netflix account? Please watch the documentary "13th" - link is above - and tell me if you still think this after seeing it. I could go on for hours and hours, but in 90 minutes it will explain things better than I could. I've been in I.T. more than 30 years and I've met pleny of back software engineers and accountants - so not sure why you have not unless you've only worked for one small place. But aside from that, you can't really take one persons personal experiences and expect it to cover the whole scope of everyone else can you? I think I'm a little confused here as to what it is you're trying to say - is it that you don't think there is systemic racism against black people in this country? Or that you don't see black professionals because white people tell them they can't do it? I just want to understand your position.
