That's not a measure of a state's economy. It's a measure of the state government's solvency. Very different.
So am I to interpret that as meaning that you agree with Nicholas: that the majority of the states in the US (fly-over country) are irrelevant and only the big states like New York and California (and big cities like Philadelphia) should decide who is the president for the rest of the country?
