Our party blew an election that you or I should have been able to win.

We lost states - including yours- that haven't voted republican in decades.
As I said in another post when Kerry lost to that dimwit in 2004 it took me quite a while to realize that neither the candidate nor the platform was really any better than what the dimwit offered.

We've just lost touch. We had a chance with Obama and he got us even further off track.

Here's one example of what we should have been talking about, instead of worrying about whether someone can buy a pizza.
