>>>>>>>>Asians don't have such thing as "Asian Lives Matter". Nor do they have nearly the number in government officials who claim to be fighting for their cause. Yet, as a group, they succeed and thrive. Why is that?

>>>>>>
>>>>>>Okay. So, how long does it take to get over the pain, and hardship, suffered by your ancestors?
>>>>>>How do you explain people like Ben Carson, Thomas Sewell and Condi Rice?

>>>Do you have a netflix account? Please watch the documentary "13th" - link is above - and tell me if you still think this after seeing it. I could go on for hours and hours, but in 90 minutes it will explain things better than I could. I've been in I.T. more than 30 years and I've met pleny of back software engineers and accountants - so not sure why you have not unless you've only worked for one small place. But aside from that, you can't really take one persons personal experiences and expect it to cover the whole scope of everyone else can you? I think I'm a little confused here as to what it is you're trying to say - is it that you don't think there is systemic racism against black people in this country? Or that you don't see black professionals because white people tell them they can't do it? I just want to understand your position.

>>Why get Netflix? You can view similar videos on youtube for free. Don't waste your time. Talented filmmakers can make almost anything look convincing.
>>
>>I'm not saying blacks are inferior, at all. They have as much potential any anyone. Most of their problems come from within and from listening to politicians who have convince them they can't achieve without special help from the government.....many of the are still waiting for that help....Hope and Change...right?.....
>>
>>Right, only idiots have hope in the government to improve their lives. Mostly, you have to do it yourself.
>
>..but do you think there is a systemic racism problem in this country or not?

No. I actually think the pendulum has swung the other way.
That's not to say that there isn't any racist...on both side. Racists come in all color, size, gender and creed.
There are racists in America. But America is not a racist nation. America, by far is the most tolerant nation in the world.
