Not counting pro-athletes and entertainers....there are other black Americans who are doing well.... People like Ben Carson, Thomas Sewell and Condi Rice are just the well known ones.
But the media never talk about the less known ones. They don't fit the liberal mantra (you know... "you better vote for us or else....the white man will get you")... There's nothing to be gained from the successful ones.......the media need grievance....

When I lived in Akron, my black next door neighbor was an administrative assistant in one of the city's offices, My black neighbor across the street was a research chemist at Firestone and the other black neighbor who lived across the street was a detective in the Akron police narcotics unit. I'd say that they were pretty successful....
