Of course. But think that through: the same nation that saw a duty to bring Germany and Japan back from the brink, more recently hasn't been providing healthcare for millions of its own poor. It has, however, created an aristocrat class that rivals the golden age in France just before Madame Defarge had her day. Need I go on?
