It was your analogy to begin with....but minorities do not get as many opportunities as whites in the USA because of systemic racism. And for that matter racism in general. If two equally qualified people apply for a job or an apartment or a loan the white guy is going to have the edge over the black guy - just as the black guy is going to be looked at closer by the police than the white guy walking down the street - and the black guy is going to serve a longer sentence for the same crime as a white guy would. This isn't some big secret or something.
