>>>If the hack was....
>
>Thanks for the succinct summary! Since the FBI is saying there was hacked Republican dirt that was withheld to damage HRC- they really ought to demonstrate rather than relying on "take it from me" assurances.

One more scenario: as Donald was at odds with more than a few Rs, more like Bernie compared to HRC with the Ds, such info could be used in silence to get a picture of some of the Rs less public utterings when trying to identify friend and foe inside the camp usually thought more friendly with its own Prez candidate.

I am resonably certain that Donald did not have the resources or motivation for launching such hacks, but he might have no trouble using such knowledge to benefit his position.

But since so much was made of it in MSM, considering the fact that NSA probably has such mail troves in at least duplicate (doubtful that they normalize these data masses), the bigger question is who also has such powers inside US gov ? How can FBI be certain ? The question rose when they were called phylakes, but their means seem to have grown a bit lately...

No idea how to define Occams razor there: As covering up seems to be standard procedure, how can I map actions like Weiner resurfacing mail store analysis late in the game without just blindly suscribing to praising any action furthering the side more palatable to me or blindly accepting statements at face value ?
