>>>. I have never in my life seen such denial and nastiness after an election and I feel compelled to speak out against it.

>The worm is turning. E.g. this article makes some brilliant points- including that Trump won the popular vote outside California which single-handedly gave the popular vote to HRC- meaning California would choose the president if it were a national ballot- which is why it isn't- but the impact is reduced by the unnecessary epithet in the title that risks some people not bothering to read the content. HRC supporters please don't be offended at the title that I suspect was added as clickbait by somebody who is not the author.

John
I've made this point before, but I'll make it again.
If I bogey the final hole of a golf match and my score of 75 (I'm dreaming) loses to my opponent's 74, that bogey didn't cost me the match. I lost it because over the 18 holes, my opponent took one fewer shots than I did.
One any of the prior holes, I could have built more than enough cushion to handle that bogey.

So, the CA factoid, while interesting, is irrelevant.

She whacked him on the popular vote, period.

However as I said to Tamar, we should be wondering why a candidate with the backing she had - from the establishment of both parties and virtually all of the media with virtually limitless funds beat this obnoxious, profane boor by only 2.8 million votes.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
