Good for you if you don't feel it. But just think of all of your money which was poured into bailing out the banks, a couple of useless wars, making Blackwater guys rich and untouchable. Count the number of banksters who were jailed and compare that with the number of guys jailed for possessing a few ounces of pot. Remember when the last independent gas station in your area was taken over by a chain, or had to buy into a franchise. Remember when health insurance was mostly covered by non-profit insurers. Remember how there's never enough money for schools but there's always money for armored police vehicles. You may not feel any of this directly, but bit by bit it is eroding your wealth too.
