On my first point, I'll clarify, my fault - there were no Republican Senate candidates. My point is that it would have been a waste of time for Trump to campaign in California. The state is extremely far left.

On my last point, when you say "I don't remember discussing the EC before the election"...I know. That's my point - these arguments can't be separated from the context that Trump won. Had the situation been reversed (Trump winning popular vote and losing electoral college by the same margins), I find it very difficult to believe there's be all the arguments from the left over the EC.
