I actually don't know if you're being serious or facetious :)
When Clinton won with 43%, remember that Perot as a third party candidate was close in the polls until he dropped out. He managed to get almost 20 million votes, or nearly 19% of the popular vote. That's roughly 3x more than all the 3rd party candidates put together this time around. So I don't see any comparison between Clinton's win in 1992 and what happened this time around.
I never complained one bit about Clinton winning in 1992, because I "held my nose" and voted for him. I thought Bush was an atrocious conservative.
