Over the years I understood the wisdom of what I'm doing with my website. It isn't too much different in style than it was in its first incarnation in 1999. If you care about style too much, you will be doing what everybody else does, spend 90% of the time redesigning it every year or two. The 10% of the time that goes on content may be in vain, because with all those redesigns, the content may be lacking, hard to find or just plain obsolete.

With UT I'm actually satisfied with the direction it took. Though we had a few rough years while Michel was struggling to achieve in dot nyet what he had while the site was running under WWWC (remember "the rest of the thread below this message" which for a while went by datetime instead of thread hierarchy or didn't go at all, the loss of non-western characters in messages etc), I actually like the way the site stays faithful to its base design, and loses only those features that nobody really cares about (do you remember any of them? - I remember only the non-christian-dictionary filter being gone). And just like in my site's case, the content only grows, and is just as easy to find as before.
