FWIW, I'm a strong supporter of Israel and I do object to the fact that the UN targets Israel with this kind of stuff while overlooking the misdeeds of other countries. But the settlements are wrong and are an obstacle to peace.

I am glad that we can agree on something (our support of Israel) but I don't agree with you stance on the settlements. Letting Hamas and other known terrorists whose only goal is to wipe Israel off the map into Israel's backyard is way too big a threat to Israel's survival. Also, Israel was attacked by the Arabs in 1967 when they won the war and the land. For crying out loud, Hamas is farther away than that right now and it does not stop them from lobbing rockets into Israel on a regular basis. Do you REALLY think that there will EVER be peace between Israel and the Arab world? Especially when the first commitment of most of the Arab nations is to wipe Israel off the map?
