>Hmm. As far as I'm aware 'Classic is the DisplayName for the 0x80000000000000 KeyWords value - which indicates that it is NOT null. Check again in the Event Viewer but look at the Detail/Xml View. You could also look at the Xml in code with loEventLogRecord.ToXml().

If Classic is displayed, Keywords is available. Its value is 0x80000000000000. The problem is I can no longer get it from .NET in this new environment. This is the first time I am trying to make that work under Windows Server 2012. Is that your OS as well?

There is no exception. Even if I remove the comment, there is no exception either. It is just that I did it like that so far to avoid having the NULL value in the table field.
