I use JIRA often. I'm in a team lead position where I have 4 other developers on my team and use it to manage sprints, scrums, timesheets, etc.

I think the concept for the tool is good - but the tool itself isn't particular high quality. Yes, it gets slow very quickly.

Then again, I'm not a great fan of Agile or the backwards thinking of most implementations of it - and therefore have a sour taste in my mouth and am quite negative about the whole thing.
