thank you all for your help.
I tried diffrenet thing and after restarting the PC (not just VFP) the windowstate=2 setting seems to work. The Button with the setting as Cetin proposed works as well as clicking the maximize-button. In the meantime I trie setting the windowsize by calculating the available space which works too and can serve as an alternative.
