Yes, you can't. You can instead use a grid as Marcia suggested.
If you use (now free) FoxyClasses, then with locatorgrid class you would have a listbox on streoids out of the box (read its chm and check samples. You can also watch this video on Youtube where controls from FoxyClasses are used a lot:
