Dmitry,

if it works, save the additional effort -Keeping it KISS is a worthwhile target IMO ;-)
In my visualization such a "btnReplaceChkbox" would have added optical niceties like different colour for selected/deselected to make it more similar to graph chkbox while not needing further .img files ;-)

>For this particular need, the checkboxes are in the column of a grid where user select which files he/she wants to download. And after I set up the check box images with the check.ico, they are big and seem to be good for finger clicking. In fact, sometimes I think the check boxes are a bit too big. I don't have other data entry applications on this Windows 10 tablet to compare with what I see. So I am going by my "feel".

>>As the current motto is "mobile first", do such a version and check if the GUI is so bad on desktop that you will support slightly different GUIs.
>>RO GUI controls with longer texts might stil be better served by graph styled chkboxes, although I guess that radiobuttons are still better than optgroups.

>>You might also implement a check in your drop down lstboxes and cbo that the amount of items is small enough to fit on screen in mobile: At least I find scrolling there more unpleasant.

>>>What property defines a checkbox control size? I mean the image of the check box itself. When I increase the FontFize it only affects the caption. TIA
