Beg your pardon. My OF construction makes only sense after REQUERY. And only if an other tag was created after USE and before REQUERY. That was visible from the example.

A REQUERY will change nothing on existing tags, they are open with the cdx file they are initialy created to. Thats what CDX(1) is reading. I create the new tag after REQUERY to the old, open cdx file. Without I would create to an additional file and there could only be one cdx open.
