I wanted to express my greatest appreciation to ALL for your help and suggestions regarding replacement of the conventional hard drive with an SSD. I am typing this message on the computer with the new SDD drive.
The Apricorn Notebook Drive upgrade Kit was invaluable. Even thought the CD that came with it didn't work. But I downloaded the software from their web site even before I tried the CD. But the hardware connector is great. It took an hour and all done. I think it took much more time making all kinds of other backups (Windows 7 Backup, etc.).
