>>I heard that just having an Israeli entrance stamp on your passport (no matter what country you're from) will bar you from some nations e.g. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowTopic-g293977-i1733-k6066610-Passport_stamp-Israel.html

When I did my stint in Africa, the South African consulate issued a loose-leaf visa (that can be removed from your passport) for this same reason- because in those days, a South African stamp bestowed pariah status in quite a few places.

My experience in the US: pre-9/11 the US offered a frequent traveler INSPASS process allowing residents of some nations to enter the USA without queues or interviews. I could be on my way in less than a minute. INSPASS was replaced by a Global Entry process that no longer is offered to New Zealanders or Australian residents, though it is to Canadians.

IOW the US has discriminated for/against various nations for years, even those considered friends and allies.

Meanwhile somebody with a drink driving conviction cannot enter Canada- presumably because of perception of risk. At least nobody can call that an attack on Muslims since they don't drink ;-) but perhaps beer-swilling Australians and rye-guzzling Appalachians should hold a march to protest the obvious bigotry of those cruel Canadians. ;-)
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
