Sure. Antonio answered your question directly, though my point was that the registry settings for IDE could be overridden by config.fpw, by explicit SET commands, and also SET EXACT and ANSI are sensitive to the dataenvironment. So, a comprehensive test would be to compare the status in IDE with the status at run time.
