The last couple of days, when logging on to UT at the top I get "News (75/2)". When I click on that link I'm connected to the list of news items. When I go back to the UT it changes to "News (75)" i.e. it has deemed that I've "read" the 2 new items.
However, if I close the browser, then open and log back on to UT, it's back to saying "News (75/2)" even though the news items haven't changed for the last couple of days.
And again today, I got an audio "Replies" when logging on to UT even though there were no new replies on UT. Instead, there were replies on Chatter4U.
It looks like something funky is going on with cookies or other tracking of user state for these sites.
