>>>That one smells to me like actions of a man whose perception is warped by sycophants and his stints in TV reality shows. There is a small chance that Trump is consciously overplaying the role of thin-skinned borderline personality to keep antagonists off balance,

>But what is that based on? If it's via the MSM, sorry but we have to disbelieve by default until confirmed independently.

Prompted by the MSM clips of Trump commenting on his new surroundings and job I wondered if my underwhelmed reaction was motivated by "typical" Trump, a selective arrangement of clips aired or a combination. Looking for sources untainted by MSM bias I went to White House descriptions of Trump efforts (you probably are in a better position to grade his views on drug prices) but the workmanship of the muslim ban plus the description of his adress to the intelligence did not cause a drastic repositioning of my current estimates.

>In this case, I think Trump can behave impulsively and likes to go off script, catching others (and himself) by surprise.

No arguement OR judgement from me, just trying to figure out if this is strategic, tactic or only self-pleasing.

>But all of that is window dressing compared to whether he brings back jobs, tackles medical inflation without re-introducing the evils of exclusions or opportunistic rescission and prevents attacks on US homes. If he can do all that, who cares if he is grumpy with the Aussie Prime Minister, slings off at CNN or goes off script to advocate attacks on terrorist families which is a war crime.

A lot depends on what is in his arsenal and what he is up against. Even a straight talking US prez probably cannot stem/reverse economic trends/laws. The current reasons for job losses IMHO he has not adressesed, as companies remaining in the states will use automation to balance higher US wages and some of his "work" is probably just publication of already planned biz decisions, done now to tickle the Trump ego and political prowess.
I am still trying to wrap my head around the consequences a change in tax structure (BTA) might have.
And the non-PC communications were in my POV a big plus. The alternative facts story line torpedoed that one for me....

>Do you want a man of words or of deeds?

I think I should be able to work with both (perhaps using different means, hence the strife for correct intel) - but as we are in chatter: I prefer females ;-)
