The seven countries were previously identified by the Obama administration last year as posing extraordinary risks for visa entry. Even CNN mildly acknowledged this:

Six of the seven are failed states known to have large ISIS activity, and the remaining one (Iran) is a worldwide sponsor of terrorism and a sworn enemy of the U.S. and our allies.

Nations with larger Muslim populations were not on the list.

I'll acknowledge that Trump's actions last weekend represent the height of executive incompetence. Trump is making the Obama administration look mildly efficient by comparison. Trump and his people went about this the wrong way, and most of the serious conservative journalists have slammed him for it.

But many of the reactions by the MSM have been false or misleading, and few of them have the courage to hold the Obama administration accountable for their role in the rise of ISIS in the first place.
