I knew a headmaster of a public school in Indiana. Brand new facility, free education apart from books and other costs. Maybe a decade ago?
Now up to $43K?! What changed?
Or are you including increased housing costs to position yourself for access to a desirable school? I found a website showing that for the increased mortgage cost to live near the top ranked public school in the US, you could send 2 kids to the best local Catholic private school.
