Using textmerge and printer commands is not the best way of doing things. I think we could probably help you through the difficulties of using the native report form, if you've got specific problems converting let us know. But a report very easily allows proportional fonts with columns left, right or middle aligned, as well as using shapes. Although shapes will slow it down a lot because they wind up causing the whole page to be sent to the printer as bitmap instead of using printer drawing commands.
