Hi Nicholas:

If you want strong Source Control for VFP 9 (sorry, no VFP 7 support for this), you have many choices:

For GIT (Open Source DVCS): check this Open Source projects

> Mike Potjer's Git Utilities for VFP 9
> https://github.com/mikepotjer/vfp-git-utils

> Lutz Scheffler's Bin2Text Extension
> http://vfpx.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Bin%202%20Text%20Extension&referringTitle=Home

For PlasticSCM (free for personal use, or licenced for commercial) check this Open Source project
> PlasticSCM Tools for Visual FoxPro 9
> https://github.com/fdbozzo/plasticscm-tools-for-visual-foxpro-9

For other SCM/DVCS tools (Perforcem Vault, TFS, SourceSafe, CVS, SVN, etc) you will get the best results using this Open Source bidirectional converter (bin>text and text>bin)

Note: I do not suggest using SourceSafe, CVS or SVN if there are more than 2 developers or if you plan to do modern Source Control with branches, merges and the like, because there are better tools for this (mentioned earlier)
