>>If it would be a single incident, then probably right. Since it was in 68 states so far (as of yesterday) (as I've heard) then it could have been addressed in the public conference with the whole country.

I suppose Trump could have tried to squeeze this in around all the other stuff an incoming POTUS needs to do in his first few weeks... alternatively, the FBI or whatever government organ is actually responsible for investigating/responding to these sorts of attacks, could be asked to comment - or could volunteer a statement if that's what is needed. FWIW, I did understand where the reporter you've mentioned was going with his question- but it was a very slow question that more resembled a speech and Trump already had foreshortened similar meanderings from CNN and other MSM reporters. Surely reporters can see by now that with this President you'd better have succinct questions ready to go without fluff or speechifying.

Anyway, this is a cruel behavior that somebody is exhibiting here... but what to do about it unless the culprits are stupid enough to leave a trail? It seems to be coordinated or it could be a widespread response to something that happened recently- or a cynical deception to make it look as if there's a groundswell.

Predictably, some are quick to lay it at Trump's door. In fairness I have been perturbed by some of the casual anti-semitism in online comments that purport to support Trump- who publicly blessed his daughter's conversion to Judaism to marry a Jew who now is one of Trump's principal advisors. Meanwhile Bannon is accused of anti-Semitism amongst his many labels: however, the Zionist Organization of America has waged a furious campaign in support of Bannon and Israeli envoy Ron Dermer announced that Israel looked forward to working with the Trump administration, specifically Steven Bannon. But still some are determined to link the Trump administration to everything negative, just as they tried to smear him when a previously ignored KKK nobody suddenly gets headlines because he said he supported Trump.

Meanwhile in real life there's reports of rising anti-Semitism on campuses, usually turning out to be the work of the same protesters who accuse Trump supporters of hate speech. Islam and Palestinian causes are popular on liberal campuses which seems to legitimize anti-Semitism, or at least anti-Israel sentiment that has led to attacks on Jewish entities. Kids who will riot and destroy their own campuses to block a speaker they accuse of hate speech, surely will not hesitate to coordinate some phone calls to punish an oppressor. Not saying it's true, but why the immediate leap to blame Trump?

What does seem clear: if these assaults are coordinated, that's not indicative of Trump supporters who clearly prefer to attend simple rallies or remain quiet and exercise their vote. Recent organized disruption always is by self-described liberals. Even before Trump was elected the Podesta leaks included evidence of provocateurs being paid to cause violence at Trump rallies and anti-Trump groups have since published advisories on how to stimulate/simulate unrest and maximize disruption. So those who are quick to link this to Trump, ought to undertake some housecleaning of their own IMHO, or it may come back to bite them on the proverbial.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
