Reading Als link properly I see the man was complaining about the cost of scaling up for his family.

I wonder what he would get in his area for $6000 per month.

We have the same issue in London with multiple professionals renting houses sharing allowing landlords to collect a much higher rent than an individual family would find easy to pay.

Found him a house $4900 per month.
