Emails from app going to Spam folder

Hi guys,
One of my clients just got their server moved to Windows Server 2016 and recently they started reporting that the emails that they send from the VFP app is going to the spam folder of some of their clients, I had them send me an email and got the email with the below message.
"This sender failed our fraud detection checks and may not be who they appear to be"
I'm using CDO to send emails, I heard about this a couple of times before this new server but eventually it went away but after this server seems to be happening a lot.
Of course the networking guy is putting all the blame on me, what could be the cause of this issue?
