I have used his books and I always wait with great anticipation of the next one. His writing is very clear and I was able to disseminate from his VB books well enough to create the calls for VFP. Good Book!!

As an aside my Visual Basic 5.0 Programmers Guide's ISBN is 1-56276-446-2. Maybe I have a newer one.
