It will still be complicated. One gadget to rule them all, but then one app per i-thing, and each app with its own quirk. Milk overflowing on the oven? Quick, where's that app... aah, the fridge started defrosting, the tv switched to porn, the AC is asking for a firmware update... where's that oven app...
