Mine is just giving a possible alternative. Mine is conditional, if a framework meets his requirements then so be it, but if not, he as a developer could write his own. And, I would emphasize the long term impact is more beneficial and convenient on his part.

That's basically what I wanted to emphasize, 'dependency'... to whom, MS and framework owners.
