The customer IT manager informed me (via email) that he plans to spin a Windows VM server in place of the Linux. Just so they can use my product. It will probably take many weeks but the end user (the department that uses my product) will push IT to get this done faster. Which means, that for now I can go and try to put out some other fires :)
