>>At a certain level of complexity, you simply can't have enough screen space on anything but big monitor, simple as that.
Or even 2 monitors, as used by most of my customer population in the US. The Samsung S8 finally simplifies hooking your phone wirelessly to keyboards and screens to mimic the PC experience, but there's too many apps and drivers for Windows to threaten the MS desktop hegemony. And with VFP Compiler now making it feasible to include sourcecode for x86 or x64 ODBC drivers inside the app's dll - deployment is remarkably easy.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
