Thanks for your input. Glad to hear I am not alone with issues with the garbage collector at times!
As I said, I tried all the tricks including rough actions of all kinds in the destroy event. To no avail. I found my solution. Replace complex collection-based code with plain collections (of integer in my case) and move your object-based complexity in other objects or just arrays.
This post is just a way to keep everyone aware: should you need sophisticated data structures? Then move to python, C sharp or whatever suits you! Fox is dependable, highly so. But I bumped into one of its limitations, I should better say: "bug". Rare occasion since 1987-1988!
