I was one of the developers for Unix users of Fox.
Awesome, awesome ROI.
One 386 processor serving 40 Wyse/60 terminals and 30 printers with incredible response times.
It was great but managing peripherals in a Unix environment was a nightmare. Finite file handles were also an issue as the business expanded.
I took a day to set up a printer.
Plug and play with Win 95 and Win NT pushed me over the line and that was it for SCO Unix.
Too bad. It was the most efficient system I ever installed.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
