Does this ActiveX control work better in VFP than DynamiCube? After working with the control in VFP 5.0a, Data Dynamics advised us to dump the data to a FoxPro 2.6 table and call a VB app to display the pivot table. The author of an article in FoxTalk (3/98) indicated that VFP compatibility was good. He worked with one of our developers, but together they were unable to get the pivot table to work.

I got involved several months ago, when our update wouldn't run on some systems. Win98 as well as some older Win95 systems were missing some dll's. I spoke with Dynamic Data several times, asking what dll's were required, but all they could tell me was that the DAO dll wasn't loading. Our lead developer was told that they didn't have any VFP users, only VB.

I hate to bad mouth a developer other than M$, but their support certainly left a lot to be desired.
